Guess where my tour will be?

Tiffany from Invisible Children called the other day to tell me I will have to dress warm for the Spring Tour because I will be going to..New England!!! The region includes: New York City, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and upstate NY.

This and the Northwest were my top 2 choices, so I am absolutely stoked. I would have been happier with (almost) anywhere, and the point of the tour is not where I get to go..but this makes it all the more exciting!

My teammates are 2 guys, Nate (team leader) and Brian. There is another girl, Hannah, who is from the UK. It's surreal that pretty soon I'll be living and working with them out of a 15 passenger van.

OH, aaand this tour is the "Legacy Tour" and for the first time ever, Ugandan children (well now they are in their late teens/early twenties) who are featured in Invisible Children's documentaries/media are going along with us on tour!! Going along with our team to New England is a young man named Innocent. If you have time, you should read about him here: http://www.invisiblechildren.com/theMission/Bracelet_Campaign. He is now in college, and has had many friends and relatives kidnapped to be child soldiers. He used to be a night commuter as a kid, which meant each night he walked 3 to 4 hours just to get to a safe place to sleep. His mentor is also going with us. I am pretty sure this is his first time the USA! I'm so excited to meet him and get to know him.

Anyways, more to come soon! I'm still in the process of raising money, which I'm kind of nervous about, but I know I can do it :)

Much love :) oh and Merry Christmas!
