So I didn't crawl out of bed until about 12:15, and my roommate Cooper was making breakfast/lunch and offered to make me some. We ate:
- Red potatoes sliced & sauteed in olive oil, salt and pepper
- Potatoes and salt were added to the Whole 30 "okay" list this year. Or some time recently. Don't quote me on that.
- Fried eggs over arugula
- He taught me this delicious and easy recipe: heat some olive oil in a skillet, place some arugula in the skillet (you can use a number of greens), crack an egg over the greens, cover it with a lid and cook until the egg is cooked the way you like it.
I also had some green tea. I crawled back into bed and started watching Making a Murderer.
I figured this time was as good as any to binge watch this ultra-depressing Netflix documentary series about a man who was in jail for 18 years for a crime he didn't commit. I both highly recommend it AND warn you not to watch it. It is heart wrenching.

At some point around 3pm I made some coffee and saw that my other roommate Julie had gone to the store (I pathetically texted her earlier to see if she could grab me a couple things). I had a snack:
- Unsweetened apple sauce (always need to look at the ingredients label! Eeeeverything has sugar)
- Banana and unsalted almond butter
Then I fell asleep for a while, or at least tried to. It was rough. Around 7:45 or so I ate dinner with Julie and Cooper. Again, so thankful for them. They made:
- Flank steak
- Red potatoes
- Roasted brussel sprouts
Crawled back into bed again. Fell asleep about 10:45pm. Day 1=overrrrr.
I'm sorry you were so sick and feel you =( Also, what list of "whole 30" are ya'll using?
